A resident of Amite passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 20, 1953 in Amite and was 64 years of age. She was a member of New Sharon Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Hayden, Amite; 2 sons, Harvey Hayden, Amite, and Daniel Hayden, Amite; sister, Dianne Schwartz, Kentwood; brother, Semyon Peek, Wilmer; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Charlie Jack Peek; mother, Cleon Willie Booty Peek; uncle, Harvey Odel Peek; and her sister, Yvonne Fanny Peek. Visitation at New Sharon Baptist Church from 6 p.m. until Memorial Services at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Services conducted by Bro. Ron Ball.
