James Michael Feltman, resident of Vicksburg, MS, native of Kentwood, LA, was born in Magnolia, MS, on July 18, 1953. Mike, surrounded by his loving family, went home to be with his Lord on August 6, 2017 at the age of 64 years. Mike will be remembered by his family and friends for his loving heart and gentle spirit and will be greatly missed. Mike has been involved in the food and beverage industry for 40+ years. Most recently, he worked at Waterview Casino as Director of Non-Gaming Operations, as well as John Folse's White Oak Plantation as General Manager. Mike is survived by his loving wife and soul-mate Shelly Travis Feltman, his two daughters Michelle Babin Alcido (Jim) and Kelly Travis Hamilton (Danny), godson Alex Aschenbrenner, sister Kathy Feltman, grandchildren Joseph Alcido, Thomas Alcido, and Jaelyn Wilkinson, uncle Gail Feltman (Connie), uncle Jack McDaniel (Georgene) father and mother-in-law Charles and Emily Hutchinson, sister-in-law Dorchelle Ensign (Horace), brothers-in-law Kenneth Martin (RhondaJo), Milton Berthelot (Sandy), and Jonas Martin (Amy), cousins, and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father William Feltman, mother Betty Ann McDaniel Feltman, brothers William David McDaniel and Kenneth Russell Feltman. Services will be held at St. Michael's church in Vicksburg on August 9, 2017. Visitation will be from 10-11 with mass starting at 11. Then on August 11, 2017 at McKneely Funeral Home in Kentwood visitation will be from 10-12 with services immediately following. Internment will be at Tangipahoa Cemetery in Tangipahoa, LA.
