A resident of Holden, LA, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was born November 10, 1954 in Jackson, MS and was 69 years of age. He spent 30 years with the Baton Rouge Fire Department and retired as District Chief. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Etta Parker; daughter, Jenny Brown (Fred, Jr.); son, James David Parker (Amy Ledoux); grandchildren, Kristian Brown, Freddy Brown, III, Landon Brown, Randy Brown (McKenzie), Savannah Brown, Mackenzie Parker, Lucy Parker, Jacob Navarre, and Lilly Parker; sister, Linda Brady Holden. Preceded in death by his father, Albert W. Parker, Sr.; mother, Esther M. Parker; brother, Jerry Parker, Sr.; sisters, Carolyn Leonard and Shirley Parker. Visitation at Bethel Baptist Church (20419 Circle Dr. Livingston, LA 70754) from 12:00PM until religious services at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Services conducted by Bro. Bubba Courtney.
