Allen ( Brent ) LaFleur passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the age of 69. Born on January 9, 1954 to the late Essie Fontenot and Allen LaFleur Sr. in Ville Platte, La.

As a child and young adult, Brent resided in New Orleans. The last 40 years residing on his cherished land in Amite, La. Brent has worked hard his life and has been retired for the last several years. This allowed him to do what he enjoyed the most. Fishing, hunting and cooking.

Survived by his loving brothers and sister, Oklin J. Vidrine (Rose ), James A. Vidrine (Mary) and Carol A. Bodden      (Jimmy). As well as many nieces and nephews.

Per his request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers or other, the family asks that you please honor his wishes and just remember all the great memories of him. Although impossible not to mourn, Brent would not want anyone to shed a tear over him. That was the unselfish man he was. And, if you knew him, you would probably say " Yep, that was Brent ".
