Letter From Heaven

Where I dwell with God above.

The day I had to leave you,
When my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me,
And said "I welcome you".

Just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you,
Every morning, noon and night.
When you are walking down the street,
And have me on your mind.
I'm walking in your footsteps,
Only half a step behind.
And when you feel the gentle breeze,
Or the wind upon your face.
That's me giving you a great big hug,
Or just a soft embrace."

A resident of Zachary, LA, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born November 5, 1981 in Baton Rouge, LA and was 41 years of age. Survived by her only child Sarah Ann Sanford; Father, Rodney Steven Bailey Sr; Brothers, Randy Todd Bailey and Rodney Steven Bailey Jr; Grandchild, Stella Ann Chemin; Nieces, Taylor Danielle Bailey, Lexie Renee Bailey, Loreal Renee Richardson, Hayden Paige Bailey, and Ashton Grace Bailey; Nephews, Steven Dale Gremillion and Jason Michael Bailey. She is preceded in death by her Mother Lois Ann Bailey. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 12:00 Noon until religious services at 2:00PM on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
