Audrey "Audie" Gill

At 93 years old, Audrey “Audie” Brumfield Gill passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, love, and a family who will forever cherish her. She loved her family deeply. Family was at the heart of her life, and she took great pride in being there for the people she loved. She was a hardworking woman who spent much of her life caring for others and often putting their needs before her own. She was loved by many and will be remembered for the love she gave and the memories she created throughout her 93 years. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a family who will forever be grateful for the years they were blessed to have her. She is survived by her son, Bennie Allen Gill; grandchildren, Jennifer Laneri, Lacey Kararick, Kristi Clardy (Travis), Brady Gill (Victoria), Richie Marcum, and Alex Marcum; great-grandchildren, Olivia Kararick, Isabella Kararick, Gabriel Laneri, Cygnus Rutledge, Bryton Clardy, Brantley Clardy, Rowan Gill and August Gill. Preceded in death by her husband, Julius “Burlin” Gill; mother, Emmie Daisy Yates Brumfield; father, Ellie Joe Brumfield; brothers, Austin Brumfield, Edward Brumfield, and Shelby Brumfield, Sr. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10:00AM until Religious Services at 11:00AM on Friday, October 9, 2026.
