Beatrice Bennett Cutrer, was born August 2, 1927 in Arcola, LA to Euell Hornsby Bennett and Mattie Ethel Dillon Bennett. She passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Amite, LA at age 94. She was a longtime resident of Roseland, LA, a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Arcola, and she worked by caring for others at Hammond State School for many years. She was the devoted widow of Lawrence Cutrer. She was happiest gardening, cooking for her family, rocking and singing to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and serving the Lord. She was loving mother of Linda Hines and husband, Leland, Jay Cutrer and wife, Cookie, Ray Cutrer and wife, Donna. The grandmother of Susan Simmons and husband, Chad, Shellie Lynn and husband, Evan, Ryan Schumacher and wife, Laura, Ronnie Noble and wife, Angela, Keith Sumrall and wife, Julia. The great grandmother to 13 and the great-great grandmother to 3. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Diane Cutrer, and 12 siblings.
