A resident of Greensburg, LA, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at his home. He was born August 12, 1945 in Amite, LA and was 77 years of age. He is survived by his 1 daughter, Betty Lorraine Currier and husband, Terry; 3 sons, Bobby Bennett, Jr. and wife, Debbie, Billy Bennett and wife, Melony, and Benji Bennett and wife, Tonya; 1 sister, Irene Morgan and husband, Duke; grandchildren, Cody Welch, Justin Bennett, Dakota Bennett, Dustin Bennett, Bailey Bennett, and Amber Currier; great-grandchildren, Charles Blake Bennett, Sylena Kate Owens, and Kinsleigh Currier. Preceded in death by the love of his life, Betty Bennett; mother, Gladys Sanders; step-dad, Jack Sanders; dad, Marion Bennett; 2 brothers, Marvin and Eddie Bennett. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10:00AM until religious services at 12:00Noon on Monday, March 6, 2023. Services conducted by Rev. Bobby Bennett, Jr. and Rev. Joey Reid.
