A resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 25, 1947 in New Orleans, LA and was 78 years of age. She is survived by her children, Larry Edwards, Jr. and wife, Delisa, Lynda Edwards Newman and husband, Reese, Keith Edwards and wife, Lynette, and Kelly Edwards Rainey and husband, Marcus; grandchildren, Cody Edwards and wife, Courtney, Kyle Edwards and wife, Nyomie, Courtney Hart and husband, Austin, Shay and Cheyenne Warren, Jacob Newman and wife, Haylea, and Casey Newman, Allison, Russell and Elizabeth Edwards, Miranda and Mackenna Rainey; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her special "little boys", Jake and Hoppy. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Larry Gene Edwards, Sr.; parents, Leopold and Leona Falgout; siblings, Charleen Falgout, Debra Falgout, and Henry Phillip Falgout, Sr.; and a great-grandson, Luke Edwards.
