A resident of Amite, LA, passed into life everlasting on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025. He was born in Franklinton, LA on October 29th, 1959. Buck was a 1978 graduate of Woodland High School who proudly served his country in the United States Army, beginning his service in Armor School in May 1978 at Fort Knox, KY and then being assigned to the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado. He was also a huge LSU fan. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Miller Lianne of Lafayette, LA and her partner, Peak Chanthavongsy; 3 grandchildren, Brynlea Sanders, Benton Sanders and Kobelyn Miller; 1 niece, Jessica Sharp Rodeillat and husband Phillip of Port Vincent, LA; 1 great-niece, Jordan Allen; 2 great-nephews, Landon and Peyton Allen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Betty (Manning) Sharp; brothers, Jack and Russell Earl Sharp; paternal grandparents, Herman and Annah Mae Sharp; maternal grandparents, Edwin and Lillie Mae Manning.
