A resident of Husser, LA, was received by Jesus on Monday, September 8, 2025. He was born February 29, 2000 in Hammond, LA and was 25 years of age. He is survived by his parents, Daniel "Dink" Simpson and Kim Simpson; sisters, Christian Simpson Reed (Carson) and Camrie Rose Ingram (Jude); grandparents, Daniel and Glenda Simpson.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Rose Naquin, Tony and Marilyn Naquin; great grandparents, W.O. "Mickey" Simpson, R.K. "Ken" Sticker, Eloise Marie Burnthorn Simpson Sticker, Dewitt Husser and Shirley Husser.

Cole knew Jesus and loved Jesus. He loved his family. His joy was to fish, hunt and research agriculture. Cole played football for 13 years starting as a pee wee player fresh out of kindergarten then continuing every year following till his senior year of high school. After high school, Cole went on to work professionally for the family business servicing air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment.

Cole was always well mannered. He penetrated the hearts of many with his generous outflow of warmth and kindness. He leaves with us only the fondest of memories.

Remembrance will be held at New Sharon Baptist Church, Husser, from 10-11 am on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with Services conducted by Rev. Jeremy Ingram at 11 am.

The family ask for anyone attending to bring a ball cap to wear after services at graveside only. Cole has a collection of many ball caps and wore one every day.
