A resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was born March 28, 1954 in Tylertown, MS and was 69 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Wava Graham Hill; step-daughters, Robin Phelps and Wendy Neu; step-son, Jody Varnado and wife, Nikki; step-grandchildren, Cody Phelps, Heather White, Joshua Neu, Robert Neu, James Neu, and Matthew Varnado; mother, Emma Lou Rushing. Preceded in death by his step-father, Wilmer Rushing; brother, Daniel Hill; step-grandson, Tyler Phelps. Pallbearers are Jody Varnado, Matthew Varnado, Joshua Neu, Robert Neu, James Neu, and Cody Phelps. Honorary Pallbearers are Walter Seals, Winston Seals, and Ricky Simmons.
