A resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. She was born November 7, 1960 in Palatka, FL and was 64 years of age. She is survived by her niece, Carla Day Hilbun and her husband, Daniel; brother-in-law, Carl Day; also survived by Barry and Carrie Roundtree and their three daughters, Adara, Cece and Kara, and Barbara Cooper and Diane Miller. Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Margaret Peters; brothers and sisters, Leslie Peters, John Peters, Pamela Peters and Rebecca "Becky" Peters Day. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Friday, January 31, 2025. Services conducted by Rev. Richard Taylor and Rev. J. B. Davis.
