It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald E. Langston, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Donald passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Donald was born December 16, 1955 in Independence, Louisiana. Donald retired from the Town of Greensburg after serving his community for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Bobbie Jean, children Sandra Cutrer, Sonny Cutrer (Viola), Joy Martin (Tommy), grandchildren Carla Powell (Richie), Robbie Culbertson (Sandra), Tyler Barber (Dawn), John Barber (Kalynda), Colton Budde, Garrett Cutrer (Ashley), Corey Cutrer, Scott Doyle (Stephanie) and Stephen Doyle, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaugther, brother Carl Benjamin Langston (Debra), sisters Katherine Thomas (Rob) and Carolyn Athey (Gary) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Juanita Langston, and brothers David and William Langston.

Visitation at Mckneely Funeral Home in Amite on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Interment in Greensburg Cemetery followed by food and fellowship at Greensburg Baptist Church.
