A resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Hospice of Baton Rouge Butterfly Wing in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born January 17, 1940 in New Orleans, LA and was 84 years of age. She is survived by her son, John Thomas Meister and wife, Charlotte; daughter, Cathy Acierto and husband, Danny; grandchildren, Kevin, Rachel, Stephanie, Rodney, Amber, Andrew, Stiffany, James and Sophia; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Braelynn, and Jaxyn; sister, Joan Burkhalter. Preceded in death by her parents, "Pec" Pecoraro and Carrie Pecoraro; husband, John Meister; daughter, Gretchen Meister; granddaughter, Misty Meister. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church of Amite. Services conducted by Bro. Matt White.
