Elvin J. Baham, 83, of Osyka, MS, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 31, 2022, from natural causes. Elvin was born on September 3, 1938, to Simon Baham and Melvina Baham of Husser, LA. He was a retired entrepreneur who owned an air conditioning business and a local store in Magnolia, MS where he enjoyed serving his community and getting to know his customers. After Elvin retired, he enjoyed attending church on Sundays, fishing, riding around on his tractor, and relaxing with friends and family who would come over to his house. Elvin was an Army Veteran, father, grandfather, and friend who is survived by his sister, Edwina Yandell, his children, Brian Baham (Wendy), Belinda Crawford (Michael), Troy Boykin and his grandchildren, Devan Baham (Reagan), Jenna Dufrene (Dustin) as well as great grandchildren, Torbyn Griffin and Cypress Edler. Elvin was preceded in death by his parents Simon and Malvina Baham, his sister Betty Jean Baham, and his daughters, Paula Baham and Tammy Boykin. Friends and family are invited to the McKneely Funeral Home, 110 East Factory Street, Amite, LA 70422 on April 6, 2022. Visitation will be from 9:00 am with services to follow at 11:00 am.
