A resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home. She was born August 25, 1942 in Kentwood, LA and was 78 years of age. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shawne Graves and Jean Watts; son-in-law, Jason Mitchell and wife Alice; brother, James Smith and wife Nora; grandchildren, Nicole Jennings, Devin Mitchell, Jamie Quinlan and fiance Hardy Hayden, Kelsey Mitchell, and Bradley Wallace; great-grandchildren, Tanner Jennings, Dakota Jennings and wife Haley, and Starleigh Wallace; great-great-grandchildren, Scottlyn Mitchell, Austin Lane White, Lauralye White, and Liam Beckett Mitchell. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Larry Watts; second husband, I. W. Simmons; parents, James E. Smith IV and Addie T. Smith. Visitation at Line Creek Baptist Church from 6:00PM until 9:00PM on Monday and from 8:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Services conducted by Rev. Justin Craft.
