“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” — Matthew 11:28–30

Gary Wayne Woodard, born on July 13, 1952, in Kentwood, Louisiana, went to his heavenly home on September 7th, 2026.

Gary also leaves behind his nephews, Samuel Woodard and Brandon Lester (Kori); his niece, Casey Whittington (Jason); his great-nephews, Eli Woodard and Barrett Whittington; and his great-nieces, Reese Whittington, Khloe Lester, and Kamryn Lester.
