"Jack" Dempsey Catoire, Sr., 85 years old of Kentwood, LA formerly of LaPlace passed away on July 5, 2022 at his home with his family at his side. Jack is survived by the love of his life for the past 60 years, his wife, Charlotte Reno Catoire and their 3 daughters, Denise and son-in-law, Andrew Berthelot, Danette and son-in-law, Donald Weems, Delane and son-in-law, Scott Lanier, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patsy Oubre and Dixie Rome; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Dempsey, Jr., his parents, Leon and Birdie Catoire, his brother, Max and a sister, Jean Raye McKinney.
