A resident of Walker, LA, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA. He was born September 7, 1938 in Canton, MS and was 87 years of age. Mr. James was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Regina Campbell Hilbun; 2 daughters, Kelli Hilbun and Kara Lyn Hilbun; grandson, Tyler Hilbun; and a sister, Dora Richard (Donald). Preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Ruby Hilbun; brother, Charles Archie Hilbun; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Hilbun. Services will be held privately.
