A resident of Independence, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at her home. She was born June 15, 1937 in New Orleans, LA and was 86 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Peter P. Vittoria; daughter, Jane Kathryn White (Buster); sons, Robert Wayne Pickering (Liz) and Kenneth Ray Pickering; sisters, Linda Foster (Claude), Brenda Wheat (Glenn Seal), Patsy Reyer Owen, and Billie Stogner (Lerell); brother-in-law, Buddy Giddens; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Rigney Pourciau; mother, Mary Mae St. Romain Pourciau Walker; sister, Agnes Carol Giddens; daughter-in-law, Cindy Pickering; brothers-in-law, Robert Reyer, Jim Owen, and Stanley Wheat.
