Jeffery Todd Gilliland was born May 18, 1969, in Baton Rouge, LA to Jimmie Gilliland, Sr. and Mary Ann McKee.  He passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, in Baton Rouge, LA at age 54.  He was a longtime resident of Chesbrough, LA and a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.  He worked for the parish for 30 years and volunteered for the Wilmer Fire Department for 25 years. For the last 15 years he has worked in the plants along with his sons.  He was outgoing and met no strangers.  Always willing to talk to and help others.

He was the husband of Kim Gilliland and father to Jered, Jordin, and Samuel Gilliland.  The grandfather of Kyptin, Karter, Harper, Kennedy, and Kollins Gilliland.  His mother-in-law was Sue Schexnayder and his father-in-law was Gilbert Graham.  Survived by brothers, Mitchell Gilliland and Jimmie Gilliland.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, sisters, April Gilliland and Tasha Gilliland, and brother, Derrick Gilliland.

Pallbearers will be Harvey Singleton, Rego Singleton, Trent Singleton, Coleton Bennett, Blane St Cyr, Jason Foy, Jonathon Gilliland, JJ Gilliland, and Tayvon Perry.
