A resident of Independence, LA, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. He was born December 2, 1940 in Wellington, OH and was 82 years of age. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a member of Carpenter's Local Union. He is survived by his wife Carla Williams Miller; 8 children, John Clark, Vance Miller, Brian Miller and wife, Jeanne, Melissa Dunaway and husband, Derek, Jennifer Patterson and husband, Josh, Crystal Anthony and husband, Kyle, Chris Williams, and Kayla Williams and husband, Terrel; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carol Johnson and Marlene Wilkinson and husband, Virgil. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Gladys Miller; and a grandson, Vance Gabriel Miller. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM on Tuesday and from 10:00AM until religious services at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Services conducted by Bro.
