Dianne was a resident of Loranger, LA. She went to meet her heavenly father on Sunday, July 23, 2023 surrounded by her family at the age of 71. She was survived by her daughter, Velma Chapman (Jason); granddaughter, Tori Wehner; grandson, Ian Chauvin; mother, Mary Thames; 2 sisters, Sheila Porter and Lisa Shaffett; 4 brothers, Frank Shaffett (Kim), David Brown (Amy), Newel Didon (Dianne), and Royce Shaffett; step-mother, Doris Shaffett; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Chapman, Sr.; 2 sons, Jesse Chapman, Jr. and Johnathan Chapman; brother, Johnny Shaffett, Jr.; father, Johnny Shaffett, Sr.; mother-in-law, Velma Chapman; father-in-law, Charles Chapman. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM on Tuesday and from 8:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Services conducted by Jim Carlise.
