A resident of Mandeville, LA, passed away on Thursday, November 13. 2025. She was born January 24, 1942 in Independence, LA and was 83 years of age. Kathleen Jocelyn  "Scotty" devoted her life to family, friends , and the public education system as a teacher. Loving, caring and always smiling. She is survived by her sons, David Anthony Cavaretta (Shelly), Michael Scott Cavaretta and daughter, Kelli Ann LaGroue (Douglas); sister, JoAnn Zerinque. grandchildren, Gina Marie Cavaretta, Brock, Brennon and Brooke Farace; partner, Jeff McClain.  Preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank and Lilly Costa; daughter, Kimberly Mary Cavaretta; sisters, Maryann Catalano, Veda Costanza, Frances Bordelon, Phyne Liuzza and Bernadette LeGoria. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite from 8:30AM until 10:30AM with Funeral Mass at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church at 11:00AM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Services conducted by Fr.
