A resident of Independence, LA, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was born September 5, 1949 in Chicago, IL and was 72 years of age. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Devoted to God, his family, and his country. Ken attended Southern Illinois University in IL. He also served in the United States Air Force and Illinois Air National Guard. He worked for the United States Postal Service in Baton Rouge for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Loria Guzan of Independence, LA; daughters, Gina LeBlanc and husband, Gary of Independence, LA, and Julia DiMaggio and husband, Philip of Tickfaw, LA; 6 grandchildren, Isaac LeBlanc, Kya DiMaggio, Liam DiMaggio, Braven DiMaggio, Willow DiMaggio, Maddox DiMaggio, and Goldie DiMaggio; sister, Frances Guzan of Dallas, TX; brothers, Michael Guzan and wife, Karen of Louisville, OH, Richard Guzan and wife, Denise of New Port Richey, Florida, Donald Guzan and wife Gale of Plymoth, WI and Leo Guzan of Elk Grove, IL. Preceded in death by his mother, Frances Lavryk Guzan of Chicago, IL; father, John Guzan of Chicago, IL; sister, Diana Lowe of Arlington Heights, IL.
