A resident of Amite, LA, born on February 11, 1945 to Homer and Faye Cutrer Booty, entered into his eternal life on Monday, October 19, 2026 at the age of 81 years. He graduated from Kentwood High School in 1963. He worked at Dibert, Bancroft and Ross Steel, Atkinson Steel, and Simmons Texaco. Lindsey had a sense of humor which kept you in stitches. His greatest passion was the thrill of the hunt of yard sale finds. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, JoAnn Cavaretta Booty; 2 children, Vikki Pitre and Keith Cavaretta (Kelly); grandchildren, Anna Cavaretta, Chris Cavaretta, and Landon Dufrene; sister, Betty Simpson; brothers, Alton Booty and Dennis Booty; family friend, Darlene Cavaretta; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Homer J. and Faye Cutrer Booty; brother, Verlin and Mary Booty; sister, Dois and Clarence "Tut" Young; father-in-law and mother-in law, Vince and Lucy Cavaretta; sisters-in-law, Dolly Booty and Juanita Booty; brother-in-law, Bobby Simpson.
