A resident of Roseland passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at his home. He was born March 2, 1942 in Hillsdale and was 75 years of age. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Arcola. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Thompson; daughter, Deborah T. Cutrer and husband, Ray; 4 grandchildren, Angela H. Thompson, Michael D. Hurst and wife, Brandy, Justin M. Hebert, and Denman R. Cutrer; 4 great grandchildren, Brody, "JT", Macy and Blake; 2 sisters, Carolyn T. Corkern and husband, Billy, and Roxie T. Jones and husband, Sandy; and 2 brothers, Paul W. Thompson and wife, Nell, and Teddy M. Thompson and wife, Claire. Preceded in death by his father, Hollis M. Thompson; mother, Dorothy R. "Dossie" Thompson; and his granddaughter, Brandi R. Cutrer.  Visitation at First Baptist Church of Arcola from 6 PM until 9 PM on Sunday, and from 9 AM until religious services at 11 AM on Monday, September 11, 2017. Services conducted by Rev.
