A resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. She was born December 17, 1930 in Amite, LA and was 94 years of age. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Linda Ann Ballard (Gene) and Veronica Arlene Boutian (Daniel); son, Kerry James Casanova; grandchildren, James Kendrick Casanova (Kim) and Benjamin Paul Boutian; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Doby (Kenneth) and Roger Leon, IV (Yajaira); great-great-grandchildren, Saige Doby, Autumn Doby, Ayden Doby,  Elijah Leon, and Connor Leon; sisters-in-law, Annie Thompson and Verma Casanova. Preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Lorena Thompson; husband of 75 years, Austin Joseph Casanova; sisters, Frances Thomas, Vernis Thompson, Katy Thompson, and Cecile Woodruff; brothers, Jimmy Thompson and Kenion Thompson.
