A resident of Madisonville, LA, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. He was born October 8, 1979 in Baton Rouge, LA and was 45 years of age. Matt enjoyed spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews. He also liked traveling, being outdoors, and spending time on the river. His passions in life included history, music, and socializing. He is survived by his brother, John Storey (Cathy); uncle and aunt, Robert and Rebecca Patridge; aunt and uncle, Nancy and Charles Slade; companion, Anecia Samons; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Rose Storey; grandparents, L.L. Storey and Mildred Storey and Joe and Margie McAllister.
