Nace Paul Loria of Independence, LA passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the age of 98. He was born on September 19, 1924 in Tickfaw, LA. He graduated from Independence High School and served in the U. S. Army. Nace was a farmer, a dairy farmer, and played in a band named, KELLY AND HIS PARADISE BOYS. He was a television repairman until retirement. Nace is survived by his sister, Rose Loria Baker; son, Salvador Loria and wife, Catherine; daughter, Mary Theresa Guzan; daughter, Brenda Loria Pecoraro and husband, Gerald; grandchildren, Sal Loria, Jr., Joseph Loria, Angela Loria Governale, Gina Graziano LeBlanc, Julia Guzan DiMaggio, and Erika Pecoraro Baumgartner; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends. Nace was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Macaluso Loria; son, Joseph Edward Loria; father, Sam Loria; mother, Theresa Bertone Loria; brothers, Sam and Joseph Loria; great-granddaughter, Jessica Meriwether and son-in-law, Kenneth Guzan. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Services conducted by Deacon Al Levy.
