A resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond, LA. She was born January 23, 1943 in Magnolia, MS and was 82 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Causey; son, Aubrey "Cat" Watson; son, Marlon Causey; sister, Liz Phillips, grandchildren, Bethany Brooks husband Kody, Sharon Annette Causey, Michelle Kirby, Amber Kirby, and Jacob Stewart; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph L. Phillips and Bertha L. Westmoreland Phillips; daughter, Belinda Lea "Punk" Watson; daughter, Marlene Kirby; three brothers, Joseph W. Phillips, Rev. James R. Phillips, and Glenn R. Phillips; 2 sisters, JoAnn Phillips and Irma L. Bennett. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10:00AM until Religious Services at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Services conducted by Rev. Brandon Phillips.
