Paul Ferdinand Cazaubon, a resident of Metairie, LA entered into eternal glory on May 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 102. Born Feb 27, 1923 in New Orleans, LA.
Survived by his loving wife Ruthie Simmons Cazaubon of 66 years, sons Stephen and Kenneth, and many nieces and nephews. A man who loved God and loved going to church. Preceded in death by his parents George Louis Cazaubon and Hazel Bernadine Hoffmann, brothers George Jr., Harold (Joyce), Louie (Melba), and sisters Hazel Mae (Ernie) Stoltz and Carol (Laurence) Faucheux.
Graduate of Francis T. Nicholls High School. World War II veteran who served in Europe in the U.S. Army (2nd Infantry Division). After the war he learned how to repair clocks, a hobby he enjoyed for many years. Attended Delgado night school while working during the day. Retired U.S. Postal employee. He was a kind and selfless soul who will be truly missed by all.
The family would like to thank the staff of Anvoi Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and guidance. Visitation at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 315 Ridgelake Dr. in Metairie Saturday, November 15, 2025, at noon until religious service at 1 pm conducted by Rev. Bradley Drew. Private interment in Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Arcola, LA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.
