Robert Earl Brabham I, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 14, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 6, 1956 in Independence, Louisiana. He was 69 years old. Robert married the love of this life, Janice, on August 20, 1977. Over the last 47 years, Robert and Janice were blessed with children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and created a life they loved and cherished in Greensburg, Louisiana. He spent many days growing vegetables in his garden and sitting on the porch with his fur baby and companion, Minnie Pearl. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, brother and uncle and will be dearly missed. Robert was greeted in heaven by his father and mother, Amos and Louise Brabham, sisters: Loretta "Jo" Wall, Rebecca Millet, Debra Grice, Faye Brabham, Marie Lederer, Angie Hebert, and Brothers: Eugene Brabham and Leon Brabham. He is survived by his devoted wife, Janice Beddingfield Brabham, his beloved fur baby and companion, Miss Minnie Pearl Brabham. Children: Charlotte Ficklin (husband: Lynne), Robert "Bobby" Brabham II and Sandra "Sandy" Culbertson (husband: Robbie). Grandchildren: Triniti Ficklin, Preston Ficklin, Justin Ficklin, Landan Brabham, Joshua Brabham, Hayleigh Bowlin, Robert Brent Culbertson and Cameron Culbertson. Great grandchildren: Roman Bo Palmer, Peyton Bowlin, Weston Bowlin, Strider Brabham and Aubrey Ficklin. Sisters: Shirley Shill, Nancy Wascom, Janice Carter, Louise Davis, and Brothers: Randy Brabham and Mike Brabham. Lastly, he had two nieces that loved like his daughters: Kaylee "Bae Bae" Woodard and Jessica "Moosey" Coates. Visitation will be held at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite Louisiana on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 6-9PM and will continue on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 9am until funeral services at 11am at McKneely Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Mr. Caleb Cleveland. Interment will be at Greensburg Cemetery. The family would finally like to extend a special thank you to Melissa Thomas, Landan Brabham and Bridgeway Hospice, especially Nurse Evangeline.
