A resident of Woodville, MS , passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 28, 1934 in Cave Springs, GA and was 88 years of age. She was a member of Tangipahoa Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Hopkins Stewart and husband, Rev. Greg Stewart; 2 grandsons, George Stewart and wife, Jennifer, and Clint Stewart and wife, Joanne; 5 great-grandchildren, Beaux, Hope, Macey, Faith, and Luke Stewart. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Allen Hopkins; parents, William Ira Sims and Laura Grace Sims; and brother, Lamar Sims. Visitation at Tangipahoa Baptist Church from 9:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Services conducted by Bro. Greg Stewart and Bro. Clint Stewart. Interment Tangipahoa Cemetery, Tangipahoa, LA. Pallbearers will be George Stewart, Clint Stewart, Luke Stewart, Beaux Stewart, Paul Stewart, Kevin Thompson, and Kenny Jones.
