She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved working in her yard and in her flowerbeds. She put up great fight but is now in the arms of her savior Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of Wilmer Missionary Baptist Church. To remember her, anyone who knew her knew she was one tough lady who worked hard on their dairy farm while also raising 5 children. She taught us how to work and instill all we needed to learn to survive in our adult lives. All who knew her even not blood kin, she was called Moma Nell or Aunt Nell. When you would visit her home, she would have to give you something before you left. It could be a plant or flower from her yard, food or etc. She was a second Moma, friend and mentor to many.
