A resident of Independence, LA, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Landmark Nursing Home in Hammond, LA. She was born November 12, 1928 in Independence, LA and was 96 years of age. She is survived by her daughters, Rosetta Hughes and husband, Arthur, Frances Billiot and husband, Sanny,  Lisa Johnson and husband Allain and Henrietta Palmisano; 1 son, Frank J. Mandella, Jr. and wife, Doris; grandchildren, Brian Michael Mandella, Frank J. Mandella, III, Anna Hughes, and Andrea Chapman and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Vanessa Mandella, Jordan Duncan, Austin Duncan, Madison Chapman and husband, Colt, Brooke Chapman, and Owen Chapman; great-great-grandsons, Walker Cusick, Cohen and Jarren Quinn. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Mandella, Sr.; son, Joseph Henry Mandella; father, Joseph Michelli; mother, Laura Oddo Michelli; sisters, Marie Cumpston and Mary Frances Michelli; granddaughter, Vanessa Mandella.
