A resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at The Lodge at Tangi Pines in Amite, LA. She was born November 13, 1936 in Houston, TX and was 88 years of age. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra Ainsworth and Wanda Bridges (Barry); 2 sons, Albert Anthony and Wendell Anthony (Linda); grandchildren, Angelia Miller (Adam), David Anthony (Tiffany), Lynne Mizell (Christopher Traylor), A.J. Anthony, Brian Ainsworth (Sybil), Krystal Ainsworth, Brittany Smith (Jared), Blake Leonard (Katelyn), Barrett Bridges, Blaine Bridges, Kirstin Gokey (Michael), and Ryker Anthony (Malyn); step-grandson, Kevin Bridges; numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter;  numerous nieces, and nephews; and her special friend, Ola Mae. Preceded in death by her husband, William Anthony; daughter, Terri Lynn Anthony; parents, Albert and Velma Bennett; sister, Rachel "Sis" Cox; brother, Herman "Dick" Bennett; and a daughter-in-law, Jeanette Anthony. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 9:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Services conducted by Rev. Darryl Miller.
