Born January 25,1928 and passed April 14,2023 at 5:40PM. She was born in Mobile, Alabama but resided in Walker, LA for most of her life where she was a Foster Grandparent at Walker Elementary School for 20 plus years. She retired at the age of 91. For all those years she drove herself to the school. She retired to Walnut, MS for a short retirement but then returned to her home in Louisiana. She passed from this life to her heavenly home in Satsuma, LA on April 14,2023 at 5:40PM. She was a loyal member of New Life Tabernacle Of Walker, LA Rev. Keith Payne Pastor. While in Walnut, MS she attended Souls Harbor Church Rev. Jesse Cutrer Pastor. She is survived by 3 Sons: Frank and (Karoline) McConnell Walnut, MS, Sidney Norwood and (Linda) Stafford Livingston. LA, and Jessie and (Mona) Stafford Prattville, Alabama; 3 Daughters: Elizabeth (Betty) and (Shelton) Pierre Picayune, MS Debbie, and (Albert) Pierre Amite, LA, and Eveet and (Rev. Jesse) Cutrer Walnut,MS; 4 Nieces. She had 21 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents: James and Helen Morris; 2 Brothers: Clark Morris and James Morris; 2 Sons: William Joseph McConnell and John Robert McConnell; Spouses: Patrick Joseph McConnell and Sidney N. Stafford Sr. Visitation at New Life Tabernacle, 12012 Florida Blvd., Walker, LA 70785, from 9:00AM until religious services at 1:00PM on Monday, April 17, 2023. Services conducted by Rev. Keith Payne, Rev. Jesse Cutrer, and Rev. Larry McConnell. Interment Twin Pines Cemetery, Holden, LA. Pallbearers will be Frank McConnell, Joseph McConnell, Lance Cutrer, Jonathan McConnell, Larry McConnell, Robert Pierre, Michael Spring, Jeremy Shelton, Brandon Pittman, and Cy Brown.
