A resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at The Richard  Murphy Hospice House in Hammond, LA. He was born September 10, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL and was 70 years of age. He is survived by his brother, John Steve Dixon; niece, Kimberly Russell; nephews, John David Dixon and Daniel Lee Dixon; great-nieces, Chelsie Verberne (Allen Bickford), Caitlin Verberne (Corey Cloutre), and Carlie Verberne (Hayden Varnado); great-great-nieces, Kamryn Verberne and Lynleigh Cloutre. Preceded in death by parents, Estelle and John Baptist Dixon; sister, Wanda W. Holden; brother-in-law, Bruce E. Holden; nephew, John Wayne Dixon. Graveside Services will be held at Sharon Cemetery, Amite, at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Services conducted by Bro. Randy Foulks.
