Eric Reiley McClendon, 53 years of age, residing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away May 20th, 2017 while traveling in Slovenia of a heart attack. At the age of 10, he began skeet shooting where he became nationally recognized. Although he was an attorney, that was not his best accomplishment. Eric was a family man, who always wished to provide happiness for those around him. He spent his life striving to accomplish his next dream. An avid traveler, he traveled any chance he could. He loved to share his passions with those he loved. He is survived by his son, Eric Reiley McClendon II, his daughter, Olivia Caroline McClendon, his daughter in law, Kristin McClendon, his brother, Robert Spec McClendon, his sister, Elizabeth Cain and many nieces and nephews. Service will be at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10 to 12 on the 31st of May, 2017. Service to follow. Interment Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, LA.
